Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
Respond promptly to residents’ needs while maintaining their self‑respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
Communicate any observed or suspected change in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests by following established safety standards.
Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co‑workers and other departments.
Qualifications
Experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Minimum age 18 years.
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and families.
Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
May be required to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and wear PPE to prevent the spread of COVID‑19 or other communicable diseases per regulatory guidelines.
