Responsibilities
Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department.
Assist customers on the store floor as needed.
Properly bag groceries for customers when needed and carry groceries when requested.
Maintain store cleanliness and safety at all times.
Retrieve and return store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs and check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.
Operate in a fast-paced grocery store environment requiring lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory attention.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra awesome).
Retail Management Certificate (extra awesome).
