Base pay range $21.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Position Summary The Medical Assistant supports patient care delivery by working cooperatively with all team members in planning, performing, and assisting with procedures, appointments, patient relations, follow‑up care, and other tasks as requested by a physician.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, assist with procedures, and administer injections.
Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain equipment.
Perform chart prep, upload medical records, and manage authorizations.
Support scheduling, prescription refills, and front office tasks.
Monitor and restock supplies to maintain clinical readiness.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field
Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion is a plus
Phlebotomy Certificate is a plus
Healthcare experience preferred, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system experience
Bilingual in Spanish
Knowledge and experience in the specialty the applicant is applying to is a plus
Knowledge of HIPAA laws
