Summary The Operations Supervisor – Check Processing is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Check Posting and Research Department. This role manages a team of approximately 17 direct reports and ensures the accurate and timely posting of checks into internal systems while meeting strict service level agreements (SLAs). The Supervisor serves as a key liaison between staff and leadership, ensuring compliance with company policies, operational efficiency, and high levels of client satisfaction.
Your role in our mission
Supervise and manage a team of approximately 17 employees within the check posting and research functions
Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily workloads to ensure checks are posted accurately and on time
Ensure all check processing and posting activities are completed in accordance with established SLAs
Track work progress and productivity using Excel and internal reporting tools
Investigate posting discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate internal departments or stakeholders for resolution
Act as a point of escalation for operational issues, workflow delays, or quality concerns
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members
Communicate regularly with upper management regarding team performance, workflow status, and process improvements
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow within the department
What We're Looking For
Previous supervisory experience (required)
Strong Excel experience, including tracking, reporting, and data review (required)
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a hybrid position based in Irving, Texas, and candidates located in this area are encouraged to apply.
The work schedule is Monday‑Friday, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.
To work effectively as a teleworker or hybrid positions with Gainwell, employees must have a broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 24 Mbps download and 8 Mbps upload. Higher speeds are recommended for optimal performance.

Pay Range: $47,500.00 – $67,800.00 per year. Base pay may vary based on geography, equity, skills, and experience.
