Job Responsibilities
Coordinate and complete hydrogeological project evaluations and feasibility reviews for land application and groundwater monitoring sites
Provide written review comments and recommendations for groundwater monitoring project plans and specifications
Maintain groundwater data collection and storage systems, ensuring accurate project tracking
Prepare reports for upper management regarding project statuses and outcomes
Communicate effectively with public and industry representatives, coordinating with appropriate personnel
Qualifications
Master’s degree in hydrology, geology, or geological engineering with one (1) year of related experience; or Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with two (2) years of related experience
Completion of ePermitting Power User training and expertise with ePermitting or an equivalent electronic government permitting application
Strong knowledge of groundwater hydrogeology, geochemistry, and contaminant transport techniques
Experience with federal and state groundwater and wastewater permitting and compliance requirements
Ability to interpret and apply environmental rules and regulations effectively
Preferred Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience performing hydrogeological reviews and evaluations for land application and groundwater monitoring sites
Extensive experience managing databases and using geospatial software
Proven track record in planning, executing, and delivering multiple concurrent projects successfully
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to work effectively with diverse groups
