Required Qualifications / Skills
General Level II (G2) qualification
Proven working knowledge of space launch systems, processes, and operations
Experience supporting Day-of-Launch planning, rehearsals, and execution
Extensive knowledge of NRO/OSL launch policies and procedures
Thorough understanding of Satellite Vehicle (SV) launch interface requirements, ascent operations, and mission rehearsal processes
Ability to perform detailed technical analysis while resolving issues in real time
Strong written and verbal communication skills to support Government leadership
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Experience coordinating with SV programs, Launch Vehicle (LV) contractors, launch bases, and Range organizations
Experience integrating mission requirements into Government or commercial launch infrastructure
Ability to develop and present briefings and assessments to technical and leadership audiences
Experience supporting readiness reviews, technical reviews, and anomaly resolution
Experience supporting launch operations at NOPS, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCAFS), and/or Vandenberg Space Force Base (VAFB)
Responsibilities
Support day-of-launch planning, rehearsal, and execution for assigned NRO and OSL-sponsored missions
Assist with coordination, integration, and execution of NOPS and Day-of-Launch mission requirements
Coordinate with SV programs, LV service contractors, launch bases, Range organizations, and other mission partners
Support mission integration planning, technical reviews, and readiness review preparation
Coordinate technical procedures and support anomaly resolution during launch and rehearsal activities
Assist with integration of mission requirements into Government and commercial launch infrastructure
Provide mission and Day-of-Launch support, including Lessons Learned adjudication
Support the development, updating, and standardization of Day-of-Launch (DoL) processes, procedures, and products
Support coordination with Eastern and Western Range, LV contractors, and SMC program offices regarding DoL Concept of Operations (ConOps) updates
Assist in ensuring DoL ConOps changes are incorporated into Mission Manager launch preparations and exercised during rehearsals
Provide Mission Control Operations planning, integration, and operational support to Government teams for launch and rehearsal operations
Support configuration, verification, and operation of mission control networks at NOPS, CCAFS, and VAFB, including secure and non-secure communications links
Support training simulations, network simulations, integrated crew exercises, mission dress rehearsals, troubleshooting, processing, and launch operations
Support cradle-to-grave launch operations activities from mission planning through post-launch
