Job Description
Observe and follow safety rules, including wearing required PPE.
Prepare and pull orders, check for accuracy, pack boxes and place orders in the delivery area.
Operate forklift after certification (company will provide training).
Load/unload containers and trucks, check materials in and report discrepancies, put stock in proper locations.
Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment; organize for orderliness, sweep the floor daily and perform general housekeeping.
Comply with OSHA and other safety regulations, wear proper safety equipment at all times.
Perform cycle count inventory.
Cross-train and perform Shipper/Receiver duties: print daily sales receipts, cross-check with software, prepare and print shipping labels, check received goods against purchase orders, route materials to storage or manufacturing locations, assemble boxes, affix postage, track inventory, process orders using the preferred shipping system (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Cross-train and perform Cutter/Slitter duties: set up and operate cutting machines, read work orders, assist supervisor with maintenance, unload shipping containers, check material, put stock in proper locations, comply with safety regulations, wear proper safety equipment.
Maintain regular and timely attendance.
Follow company’s policies and procedures.
All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge And Skills Requirements
High school diploma/GED preferred.
1+ years’ experience in retail or e-commerce preferred; on-the-job training provided.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Solid basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to be trained/certified on powered industrial truck (P.I.T.).
May use banding or shrink wrap machines.
Understand stock locator system.
