Quality Associate – Avient Corporation A stable, full‑time position with competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities to advance within a global team that develops innovative materials.

Pay Salary range: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00.

Days Standard full‑time schedule. Overtime may be required as needed.

What Is The Job As a Quality Associate, you will test product batches and adjust processes to meet customer specifications and quality standards. Your responsibilities include testing incoming raw materials and maintaining Certificates of Analysis (COA) from suppliers.

Responsibilities – Essential Functions

Perform standard tests on assigned product line production batches and on incoming raw materials as needed, ensuring compliance with Avient and customer specifications.

Act as a technical resource to production, addressing issues related to production batches.

Recommend adjustments to batches to meet specifications.

Record test results in SAP and maintain reference files.

Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

Ensure all gauges and test equipment are verified.

Participate in investigations of complaints and corrective actions as needed.

Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations, maintaining departmental housekeeping standards.

Complete and send documentation to customers (e.g., COA).

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

Quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedure manuals.

Mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide), use of conversions, and work with different units such as weight, volume, density, distance, etc.

Physical Demands

Requires standing and sitting for extended periods, talking and listening.

Must walk and use hands; occasional bending, stooping, climbing ladders and stairs.

May occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.

Must frequently communicate and understand work instructions in a fast‑paced, loud manufacturing environment.

Must detect and respond to safety alarms.

Requires use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, respiratory protection.

Exposure to outside weather conditions is routine; may be exposed to extreme heat, humidity, dust or fumes on occasion.
