About the Role The CBRE Program Manager in Charlotte, NC leads a team facilitating cross‑functional projects for a client in aerospace, building automation, industrial automation, and ESS. This is a remote position for North Carolina, Monday‑Friday role involves project management, team leadership, and ensuring projects align with the client’s strategic goals.

This position requires strong project management skills, communication abilities, and the capacity to manage budgets and mitigate risks. The successful candidate will drive project delivery and contribute to the client’s major initiatives within the CBRE Program Management function.

What You’ll Do

Guides account implementation of asset management and the annual capital planning program, per agreed CBRE business practices.

Will work with stakeholders (account team / client) to define strategic asset management and capital replacement strategy. Based on this version, manages program performance metrics to identify opportunity for ongoing improvement and innovation

Governs day to day asset management and capital planning activities which would include but not limited to:

Collaboration with regional and account leadership on capital program insights and opportunities

Leverages sector resources as necessary for the betterment of the program

Managing the annual survey process for assessing asset conditions as well as collecting other data elements when required, ensuring data collection schedules are being met.

Working with team members (Project Management / Operations) in developing replace costing for assets

Develop annual capital forecasts (short term / long term). Creates project asset budling plans and corresponding documentation for the client capital replacement plan.

Instilling account discipline and structure throughout the perpetual capital planning cycle.

Ensures asset integrity in capital planning tool (Asset Insight) is maintained and issues escalated to appropriate stakeholders for resolution.

Responsible for reporting status of the overall program to account team and client.

Manages internal and external relationships in support of program.

Ensuring data is being maintain within the application

Lead discussions and present capital forecasts for client approval.

May manage/oversee a team who are responsible for energy analysis and reporting derived from the deployment of more energy efficient assets. Will provide training to coworkers on how to use the Asset Insight technology for data collection and capital planning and forecasting.

Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PgMP or PMP certifications preferred.

Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial‑related calculations.
