Job Overview The Floor Tech provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.
Basic Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
2‑4 years of experience required; on‑the‑job training provided
No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications
Customer service experience
2‑4 years of similar work experience
Responsibilities
Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including application of spot‑cleaning treatment
Clean and maintain carpet and hard‑surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning
Gather and empty trash
Use chemical cleaners and power equipment safely
Report needed repairs to management
Maintain good communication with team and supervisors
Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, walls, and equipment
Move furniture and equipment for cleaning
Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
Wash and replace blinds
Clean tables, chairs, and food‑area equipment
Service and supply restrooms
Flexible and willing to complete all tasks assigned
Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
