LPN – Full Time
Location: Albany, NY
We have an exciting opportunity for a full‑time LPN to join our General Surgery, Trauma and Transplant practice team of healthcare providers! This is a fast‑paced clinic that strives to provide exceptional care for our patients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Obtain and accurately record patient’s vital signs
Document components of patient’s history
Communicate in an open and appropriate manner with patients, visitors and staff
Participate in in‑office procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare provider
Perform diagnostic CLIA‑waived testing
Perform venipuncture to obtain blood for lab testing
Prescription call‑backs per scope of practice
Prep patient’s chart for pertinent clinical information
Maintain inventory of supplies and keep patient examination rooms stocked
Adhere to AMC’s regulatory compliance issues
Qualifications
High School Diploma/G.E.D. – required
LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse – State Licensure Upon Hire – required
Previous experience in a patient care setting – preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients and their family members or other employees within the work setting
