Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Scenario Designer to join the team responsible for Missile Defense System (MDS) Ground Test (GT) scenario design and planning for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). MDA GTs are used to assess our nation’s defense systems through a variety of hardware‑in‑the‑loop and simulation tests.
Job Description
Use and understand how each system works and interoperate with associated adversaries to build the tests.
Develop cutting‑edge tools on the latest hardware.
Analyze requirements and constraints, utilize existing tools and provide input for future tool development, and quickly learn the MDS.
Put puzzles together, analyze everything, continually learn, innovate, and produce excellent products.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Physics, or similar technical discipline and at least 5 years of experience in system analysis or characterization of MDS components (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis, Patriot, CD, UEWR, SBX, TPY‑2, LRDR, etc.) including weapon system and/or radar analysis experience.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Highly motivated, committed to completing tasks with excellence and within deadlines.
Effective team player in a fast‑paced environment.
Desired Qualifications
SQL experience, preferred.
Tableau experience, preferred.
Security Requirements
Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel – less than 10%.
Physical Requirements
Remain in a stationary position.
Move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another.
Communicate with others to exchange information.
Repeat motions that may include wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
