Primary Purpose Teach 4 classes in First‑Year English Composition and hold 10 office hours per week for planning, grading, and student meetings.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit The mission of the Department of Language and Literature at NCCU is to engage students in languages, cultures, literatures, linguistics, and writing. We foster analytical and creative thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and communication skills to prepare students for civic and professional roles.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to teach college‑level GEC courses in English Composition.
Master of Arts in English or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours.
Strong writing, instructional, and assessment skills.
Licenses or Certification Required None.
