$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr Responsibilities

Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. Champion On-Shelf Availability and manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes. Validate and ensure accuracy of planograms. Review and coordinate proper use of reports and system applications that impact front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing. Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques, and file claims for warehouse and vendor overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods including prescription drugs. In designated stores, open and close the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups, cash handling, cashier responsibilities, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. In designated stores, lead on duty to resolve customer issues and ensure a positive customer experience. Model and share customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive experience, including greeting, eye contact, courtesy, and Walgreens service traits. Execute and coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders. Scan deliveries and manage One Box receiving, past undelivered receipts, and order corrections with vendors as needed. Verify pharmacy shipments and postings for products received, complete postings for pharmacy warehouse orders and other orders, and report shortages or damaged product. Execute On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end for planogrammed departments, including disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before expiration; complete scan outs/returns for all subscribed departments including pharmacy. Manage pharmacy inventory activities including recalls, vendor returns, non-controlled and damaged salvage returns; facilitate excess inventory returns or interstore transfers where applicable; verify posting of pharmacy claims. Assist in pricing activities, including price changes and markdowns; manage basic department pricing and signage; complete regulatory pricing tasks as required. Support front end and pharmacy ordering by ordering expense items; monitor pharmacy manual orders to identify excess orders; maintain consigned inventory and orders as required. Ensure on-hand items in designated pull & quarantine areas are updated and properly stored. Maintain accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities across departments, stockroom, and overstock locations; supervise pharmacy counts and accuracy as applicable. Ensure inventory compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol and tobacco). Maintain inventory records, including receiving and posting all products; organize files and retain invoices/receipts/return authorizations for inventory activities. Prepare for physical inventory and support inventory day activities, including floor and stockroom readiness and auditing third-party teams during inventory. Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; stay knowledgeable of store systems and equipment. Assist and coach the store team on package delivery activities, scanning in/out packages, daily inventory, and package returns; support the Pickup Program. When designated as leader on duty, register related sales on the POS system, document scanning errors and price verifications, process returns and refunds, and handle cash duties as requested. Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful coworker relationships; complete any additional tasks as assigned. Training & Personal Development

Attend company trainings for continuous development and complete all e-learning modules including safety training requirements. Obtain and maintain a valid pharmacy license/certification as required by the state. Qualifications

Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal) or one year of prior retail experience (external). Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Performance: “Achieving expectations” rating on last review and no disciplinary actions in the previous 12 months (internal). Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and execute; experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions. Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate. Prior Walgreens experience preferred; evaluation on file. Employment & EEO
