JOB DESCRIPTION The Project Manager, Mid manages the delivery of small to moderately complex projects, ensuring they are executed within defined scope, schedule, and budget under the guidance of senior project leaders. This role coordinates cross-functional project activities, tracks milestones and deliverables, and prepares regular status updates for stakeholders. The Project Manager, Mid works closely with clients, project team members, and functional leaders to address issues, escalate risks, and maintain alignment with project objectives. This position provides an opportunity to build project management expertise while contributing to successful delivery in healthcare and/or technology environments.
Responsibilities:
Manages end-to-end delivery of small to moderately complex projects, ensuring alignment with defined scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinates cross-functional project teams, facilitating collaboration among internal staff, matrix managers, and client representatives. Tracks milestones, deliverables, and metrics using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and related reporting systems. Identifies project risks and issues; develops mitigation recommendations and escalates as appropriate. Supports alignment of project activities with organizational strategy and client objectives. Prepares project status updates, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders under the guidance of senior leadership. Assists in developing and monitoring project budgets, collaborating with finance to track actuals against plan. Ensures adherence to internal governance processes, CMMI standards, and compliance with contractual requirements. Partners with clients to support effective communication and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle. Confers with project personnel to gather input, resolve day-to-day challenges, and ensure progress toward deliverables. Maintains project documentation including schedules, risks, issues, change requests, and lessons learned. Contributes to process improvement by recommending adjustments to enhance delivery efficiency. Provides informal guidance and support to junior team members or project coordinators. Demonstrates commitment to customer service and operational excellence in all aspects of project delivery.
