growth-minded District Operations Manager

who will also oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and exceptional service delivery. In this role, you will work closely with the District Manager to support business objectives, optimize performance, and lead a high-performing team across refreshment and warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Development

Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team leads. Build a leadership pipeline through mentoring and development plans. Set clear expectations and hold leaders accountable. Promote engagement, ownership, and a strong workplace culture. Operational Efficiency

Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, picking, shipping). Drive productivity, accuracy, and service-level performance. Implement standard work, SOPs, and best practices. Lead continuous improvement initiatives. Safety & Compliance

Champion a safety-first culture. Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, and company policies. Conduct audits, training, and incident reviews. Hold leaders accountable for safe operations. Planning & Improvement

Develop short- and long-term operational plans. Forecast labor and capacity needs. Identify and remove process bottlenecks. Support technology and process enhancements. Financial & Resource Management

Ensure branch financial performance meets company and client objectives. Manage labor, overtime, and operating costs. Improve labor utilization and productivity. Support capital planning and equipment needs. Metrics & Accountability

Track and review key KPIs (safety, productivity, quality, service). Lead regular performance reviews with leaders. Use data to drive decisions and improvements. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with colleagues, HR, Safety, and Supply Chain/Vendors. Communicate performance and risks to leadership. Support customer and inventory objectives. Culture & Continuous Learning

Promote continuous improvement and learning. Recognize performance and innovation. Lead change effectively during growth or peak periods. Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree and a minimum of three years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial data. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Strong problem-solving ability with experience handling complex operational challenges. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Associates at Canteen are offered many fantastic benefits.
