Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, or ACSW) to join our dynamic outpatient clinical team. The ideal candidate will be bi-lingual, dedicated to delivering high-quality therapeutic services, and passionate about supporting clients facing mental health and/or co-occurring disorders. This role offers a hybrid schedule, combining in-person and remote client care, and provides strong clinical supervision support.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities: Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions under clinical supervision. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation. Assist clients in identifying goals, developing coping strategies, and improving daily functioning. Maintain accurate and timely treatment notes in accordance with state, ethical, and facility standards. Support crisis intervention efforts and help develop safety plans as needed. Facilitate care coordination by communicating with internal team members, external providers, and client support networks. Participate in weekly clinical supervision and required staff meetings. Uphold all HIPAA, confidentiality, and legal/ethical standards. Support multicultural competency and trauma-informed care practices in all interactions. Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications: Active registration as AMFT, APCC, or ACSW with the BBS (California). Bi-lingual proficiency required (Spanish/English preferred, other languages welcome). Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related mental health field. Experience working within outpatient or similar levels of care preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
