skilled and motivated Civil/Environmental Design Engineer
to join our growing team in our Pleasantville, NY office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful and diverse infrastructure projects that directly impact local communities.

Position Overview As a Design Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams and contribute to a variety of civil and environmental engineering projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage and execute work across multiple projects simultaneously. Perform calculations, analyses, and prepare clear technical memoranda. Develop engineering plans, specifications, and design documentation. Provide engineering support services throughout project construction phases. Contribute to the design of water and wastewater systems, including: Pumping systems and hydraulics for liquids, slurries, and viscous materials Open channel flow hydraulics Water/wastewater process design Piping system design: materials, layout, supports, anchorage, expansion control Earthwork and roadway design Chemical storage and feed systems Residuals management systems Stormwater management and treatment solutions
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 2-5 years of relevant design experience Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports Experience with projects in the NYC Metro area is a plus Company DescriptionSavin Engineers, P.C. is a well-established, mid-size engineering firm headquartered in Westchester County, NY with offices in Pleasantville, NY, Rochester, NY, Bridgewater, NJ and Washington DC.
