Position Summary The Vaccine Coordinator (LPN/RN) works closely with the Pharmacist on assigned clinical trials and is responsible for understanding, implementing, and adhering to study protocols. This role plays a critical part in ensuring protocol compliance, patient safety, and accurate documentation throughout the lifecycle of vaccine studies.

Key Responsibilities Understand and implement study protocols under the oversight of the Pharmacist Follow research protocols and adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines Maintain ongoing, active communication with the Investigator and Sub-Investigator regarding study progress, questions, and issues Conduct informed consent and other study-related procedures when appropriate and not in conflict with unblinded responsibilities Understand drug preparation, handling, storage, and administration requirements Dispense, prepare, administer, and return study vaccines per protocol as an unblinded injector Document and track vaccine accountability, including required logs Complete study source documents accurately and in a timely manner Receive, log, and track study drug shipments and maintain accountability records Collaborate with study sponsors and unblinded monitors as directed Perform quality assurance (QA) activities as delegated Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong clinical background with demonstrated independent clinical assessment skills preferred

Education & Experience LPN or RN with an active New York State license Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience required
