Physical Therapist Assistant

Job description: Skilled Nursing facility is hiring experienced physical therapy assistants for contract and permanent positions. Contracts:

Fremont

and

Alameda (14 weeks) Permanent Positions:

Hayward ,

Fremont , and

Carmichael Schedule: 8A-4:30P

Job Responsibilities: Patient Treatment:

Directly assists patients with exercises, stretches, and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility. Patient Monitoring:

Observes patient responses before, during, and after therapy and reports findings to the PT. Patient Education:

Teaches patients and caregivers how to perform exercises and maintain health at home. Documentation:

Records patient progress and treatment details. Setup & Maintenance:

Prepares treatment rooms and equipment and keeps them clean. Support:

Assists patients with mobility, including using assistive devices like walkers or canes.

Requirements: Active CA PTA License/Certification At least 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
