Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Hygienist at Be Fresh Dental of Cambridge, located in Cambridge, MA. The Dental Hygienist will perform routine dental cleanings, examine patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis, and educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care. Additional responsibilities include conducting dental prophylaxis, assisting with x-rays, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting patients in maintaining their dental health.
Qualifications Proficiency in dental hygiene practices, including knowledge of dental care and dental prophylaxis Experience identifying and treating periodontal disease Strong understanding of dental health and hygiene guidance Current and valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in Massachusetts Excellent communication skills and patient-care abilities Ability to work collaboratively with a dental team and provide compassionate patient care
