We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team on-site. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of accounting experience, with a strong background in General Ledger and financial reporting. In this role, you will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and contribute to a variety of initiatives that support the Accounting and Finance department, while also providing cross-functional support to other teams within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Analyzing complex financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing financial statements
  • Managing fixed assets and other key accounting functions
  • Filing periodic tax returns (Sales and Use, Parking, Unsecured Property)
  • Assisting with NFL reporting requirements
  • Supervising Accounts Payable staff to ensure accurate expense recording, disbursements, and compliance with annual reporting requirements
  • Providing documentation and support for internal and external audits
  • Evaluating, documenting, and improving internal controls and accounting processes
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license preferred
  • 7+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, JD Edwards) and advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with monthly close processes, including reconciliations and financial analysis
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
