Job Description

What You Will Be Doing

  • Complete daily operations (opening duties, stocking, polishing, cleaning and maintaining walk‑ins, fridges and other areas as assigned by the F&B Manager on duty).
  • Meet and greet guests and coordinate with the F&B team regarding preferences, allergies and special occasions.
  • Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
  • Maintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective upselling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenue.
  • Maintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures.
  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
  • Serve group functions per individual client specifications.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
  • Follow all hotel service standards.
  • Perform any other job tasks that may be assigned.

Physical Aspects of the Position

  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying over 50 lbs.
  • Frequent pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent handling and reaching outward.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.

Qualifications

  • 1 year restaurant experience preferred; serving experience an asset.
  • Creative and passionate about customer service.
  • Able to work in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Must be able to work any shift assigned, such as holidays, weekends, mornings, and potentially afternoons and evenings if needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player.
  • Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage.
