Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Beaverton, OR, requiring on-site work. This contract role will run from ASAP through June 11, 2026, serving a K-12 caseload with details to be confirmed. The role offers an opportunity to support students across a broad age range within the school district. Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required State-issued license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred, ranging from entry-level to advanced practitioners Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to integrate therapeutic goals into classroom activities Participate in team meetings and provide consultation as needed Location and Work Environment: On-site placement in Beaverton, OR, within the Portland metropolitan area Full-time schedule (35+ hours per week) K-12 student caseload with specifics to be determined prior to placement Benefits and Perks: Opportunity to contribute to the educational development of a diverse student body Gain valuable experience working within a public school district setting Collaborative and supportive working environment Qualified candidates with the appropriate credentials and passion for school-based speech pathology are encouraged to apply to provide effective communication support to students.
