Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant

Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary We are looking for a Full-time or Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant with a valid DEA license to join our talented team & deliver exceptional patient care. The NP will work under the supervision of the medical director. Under general direction, the NP provides patient care; conducts physical exams; completes health history summary; documents patients' progress and assists with patient care management. Friday and Saturday mornings are required. Obtains & reviews patient's medical history information relevant to patient care Conducts thorough physical examinations Orders & reviews laboratory studies as well as diagnostic procedures Assumes responsibility for prescribing FDA approved appetite suppressants according to state & federal guidelines Reviews patient's progress & manages patient care accordingly Maintains all required documentation for patient care & medication management Conducts patient consultations and follow-up appointments Provides training to clinical & non-clinical staff as needed Documents patient progress notes in the patient chart and/or EMR Conduct consultations with patients regarding the program Perform other clinical duties as required Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and addressing any concerns Job Qualifications Must have valid Medical & DEA License Must ensure CAQH profile is current. Credentialed provider preferred Must be willing to work Saturday and/or Sunday hours 7am-1pm Education: Master's degree Experience: New Graduates are welcomed Must be team player & enjoy Changing Lives Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Motivational counseling/advising skills Must be able to multi-task, apply critical thinking skills, and provide highest level of customer service at all levels of the operation Ability to maintain confidentiality Interpersonal/human relations skills Monitoring Proficient in Microsoft Office & Outlook Complex problem solving Prefer Management & Leadership Experience: Sales & Marketing Experience is a Plus Competitive Salary Pays: $65 an hour- Full-time opportunities only.
