Job Description Formulate and execute asset management strategies and plans for US $8bn industrial real estate portfolio, including marketing strategies to optimize income and realize the highest value of our assets.
Support Chief Executive in the planning and formulation of corporate and portfolio strategy, as well as management of key company stakeholders such as senior management and various vertical heads.
Lead annual budgets and reports which cover the financial performance of the asset, leasing status, rental collection as well as formulating the potential exit strategy.
Support capital raising initiatives in the syndication of new funds, or additional equity for existing funds. This includes investor‑facing calls or preparation of investor pitch decks.
Maintain close communications and good relationships with external property management companies and vendors, work closely with Director of Property Management to ensure that property management plans are implemented and managed across the portfolio, and that assets are compliant with regulations.
Build strong relationships with customers and coordinate with external parties like government authorities, brokers, leasing agents, vendors, consultants etc.
Build out and lead portfolio management team across five US offices, including mentoring and management of daily workflows, planning future projects and charting career progression.
Manage market intelligence and collate global market / industry information to ensure competitiveness of the Company's products and services.
Position is based out of Mapletree US Management's office in Chicago, IL. Overseas travel is required.

The Successful Applicant Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or the foreign equivalent.
5 years of experience with industrial portfolio management and analysis to determine asset class exposure insights and strategies to maximize returns.
5 years of experience in portfolio accounting and reporting.
5 years of experience with industrial real estate private fund due diligence, fund formation, investor management, and investor marketing.
5 years of experience managing international teams and cross‑cultural communications.
5 years of experience working with MRI, SAP, BPC, and Nexus Payables.
4 years of experience with managing corporate processes, including internal risk management, best practices, and audits.
4 years of experience with leading industrial budgets, forecasts, and portfolio valuations.
4 years of experience managing industrial fund returns and distributions, capital expenditures, and non‑operating expenses.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and overseas.
