The Stanford University Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking a board certified/eligible cardiothoracic surgeon to join our Stanford University affiliated program in San Jose, California, as a departmental faculty member. The program has experienced clinical volume expansion and has additional growth opportunities. The ideal candidate should be proficient in various aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery and committed to clinical quality, patient safety, and multi‑disciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications for the position include obtaining a current valid and unrestricted California medical license.
Salary ranges, pursuant to California statute, are:
Clinical Assistant Professor: $300,000 to $365,000
Clinical Associate Professor: $440,000 to $470,000
This pay range reflects base pay, based on faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in the departmental incentive program.
