Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a full‑time BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our established and growing team in Cape Girardeau, MO. Our Anesthesia team consists of 5 physicians and 20 CRNAs, plus an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.
Mercy Hospital Southeast:
Mercy Southeast is licensed for 245 beds and serves a population of 675,000 in a five‑state area.
Diverse set of cases: Ortho (with blocks), Labor and Delivery, Low Volume Healthy Peds (ENT), Spines, Rare Heads, Basic Hearts/CT, Cath Lab, Gyn, Urology, and Other Ancillary Services.
3 Cardiac ORs and 1 dedicated Cardiac Anesthesiologist with Cardiac CRNAs 24/7.
Mercy Southeast Anesthesia:
Call rotation 1:5.
Medical direction with max 1:4.
No second call duties. Overnight call from home.
Work exclusively at one hospital.
No trauma call.
CRNA takes all intubations and epidurals. Physician called in for OR cases and C‑Sections.
Great work life balance position with excellent relationships between CRNAs and Physicians.

As a not‑for‑profit system, Mercy qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
Annual $5,000 CME allowance
