DevOps Engineer

About the Role We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who enjoys working across system administration, integration, and modern cloud‑native technologies. In this role, you’ll support a variety of survey, collection, and geo‑location systems—ranging from prototypes to fully operational environments. You’ll help ensure these systems are installed, maintained, upgraded, and configured to meet mission needs with reliability and precision.
What You’ll Work On
Administering, maintaining, and upgrading complex systems across development, test, lab, and operational environments
Installing, integrating, and configuring software and hardware components
Supporting survey, collection, and geo‑location systems
Ensuring smooth operation of prototypes and production systems
Collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot, test, and validate system performance
Applying DevSecOps practices to streamline deployments and improve system reliability
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering or Computer Science
Four years of experience may be substituted for a degree
A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience
8+ years of experience
with:
Software and system deployments
Linux system administration
Containerization
Cloud deployments
DevSecOps practices
Recent (within the last 3 years) hands‑on experience
with:
Kubernetes
Containerization and cluster orchestration
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across diverse system environments
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission‑focused setting
