The Professional Solutions team works with our customers one‑on‑one, developing professional relationships based on trust and care.

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) & Business Operations is responsible for developing, planning, organizing, & implementing current & future strategies for Helix RCM & selecting business operations. This role is also responsible for managing the operations team & the day‑to‑day activities as it relates to full revenue cycle functions, which include billing, collections, & account receivables.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for overall management of the RCM department, including developing & improving operational performance & KPI’s of the department, staffing, training, reporting metrics, charge posting, denials management & supervising collections for accounts

Leads operations & significant work assignments focused on maximizing quality & production processes; initiate development of new approaches to streamline processes, reorganize work, implement new technologies & improve resource utilization

Effectively interacts & collaborates with internal departments & executive leadership team to support strategic company growth goals

Manage the overall roadmap, planning & execution of the strategy

Responsible for monthly performance metrics, business intelligence analytics to include consistent & reliable reporting on specified metrics to achieve financial & productivity optimization

Oversees all Operations including Enterprise, an ECP Operations team, overseas partners & vendor contract management

Enhance & standardize workflow processes to achieve consistency in maintaining critical success factors

Exercises discretion & independent judgment in critical processes focused on the organization’s revenue

Promotes organizational efficiency, needed change & continuous quality improvements

Compiles & prepares various status reports to analyze trends & make recommendations

Defines & streamlines functional activities to ensure its effectiveness in maximizing utilization of asset & people resources

Designs, develops & conducts training programs that are relevant & necessary for continuous team development

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or another related field or equivalent required

Minimum of 7 years healthcare RCM & financial business intelligence management required

Possess strong managerial competencies in the areas of leadership & team development, managerial coaching, mentoring & situational assessment skills

Be a change agent & capable of guiding the firm in initiating various change management initiatives

Strong managerial acumen in setting corporate direction & aligning strategic goals to business plans

Possess strong ethics & a high level of personal & professional integrity

Possess strong analytical skills & able to interpret a strategic vision into an operational model

Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames

Proven ability to lead & develop a team & drive performance improvement

Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships & can effectively engage & ability to build consensus among cross‑functional teams
