Financial Reporting Manager
Our client is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to play a critical leadership role within the accounting function, overseeing the preparation, review, and delivery of external and internal financial reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial filings, while serving as a technical resource and people leader within the organization.
This role is onsite in Sherwood, Oregon.
Lead and oversee the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual regulatory reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and 11-K.
Direct the review of consolidated financial statements and related supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration for external reporting, partnering with accounting, legal, investor relations, and senior finance leadership.
Monitor emerging accounting standards and disclosure requirements, ensuring timely assessment and implementation of new guidance.
Oversee the development and execution of monthly reporting packages used by senior leadership and governance committees to evaluate financial results.
Manage internal control activities related to financial reporting and ensure ongoing compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
Research, document, and resolve complex technical accounting and reporting matters.
Oversee financial reporting activities for subsidiary entities and designated regulatory filings.
Serve as a subject matter expert during external audit preparation, including documentation support and audit coordination.
Lead, mentor, and develop the financial reporting team, setting performance objectives and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
Act as a technical resource for internal stakeholders and contribute to special projects and ad‑hoc reporting as needed.
Financial Reporting Manager Qualifications
Extensive experience managing external financial reporting within a regulated or publicly reporting environment.
Demonstrated expertise with SEC reporting requirements and complex financial disclosures.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
Proven ability to interpret and implement new accounting standards and regulatory guidance.
Experience overseeing consolidated financial reporting and coordinating across multiple business units or subsidiaries.
Prior leadership experience with a track record of developing and mentoring accounting or reporting professionals.
Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across departments.
High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
