Job Description: Recruiter Manager – Trucking/Logistics Industry - $90k - $100k
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter Manager with extensive experience in truck recruiting and a deep understanding of the logistics industry. The ideal candidate will lead a team of recruiters, driving them to meet hiring goals, manage pipelines, and ensure a seamless onboarding process. This role demands a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at setting and achieving recruitment KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of recruiters, ensuring individual and team hiring goals are met.
Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement action plans to meet or exceed hiring targets.
Strategic Recruitment Planning:
Collaborate with department managers to assess hiring needs and prioritize open positions.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet immediate and future hiring demands.
Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
Proactively manage pipelines to ensure recruiters are prepared for upcoming hiring demands.
Leverage Tenstreet and other industry-specific tools to manage and streamline the recruitment process.
Track candidate progress and manage data for reporting and performance metrics.
Recruitment Operations:
Assign recruiters to specific roles and ensure vacancies are filled promptly and efficiently.
Oversee and facilitate the scheduling of interviews and start dates for new hires.
Trigger and manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Hands-On Management Style:
Be highly visible and involved, providing coaching, support, and feedback to the recruitment team.
Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving recruitment goals.
Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in truck recruiting within the logistics industry.
Proven experience using Tenstreet and other relevant recruiting software.
2+ years in a leadership or management role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment KPIs.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in pipeline management, recruitment metrics, and performance tracking.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Preferred:
Experience working in high-volume recruiting environments.
Familiarity with onboarding processes and scheduling in the trucking/logistics industry.
