Pipefitter Responsibilities Include:

Install industrial piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, condensed water.

Must be versed with multiple materials of pipe (Stainless, Carbon Steel, Copper, RIGID etc.)

Cutting or boring holes in structures

Fabricate pipe supports.

Troubleshooting problems

Inspecting, examining, or testing installed systems or pipelines

Pipefitter Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in the commercial construction industry preferred

Knowledge of pipefitter equipment and power tools

Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to job sites

Strong work ethic with a positive and calm mindset

Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently throughout the shift

Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time and to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Perform mathematical calculations pertaining to the manipulation of angles such as rolling offsets, cutback of fittings, and takeout between welds and other fits
