Job Details This role involves designing structures resilient to both human use and environmental factors.

Design structures resilient to human use and environmental conditions

Configure structures and oversee drawing production

Select appropriate foundation, building, and equipment support material

Inspect construction work to ensure structural soundness

Prepare reports, design criteria, estimates, and drawings

Conduct calculations on pressures, loads, and stresses

Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction

Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval

Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers

Monitor contractor work for structural integrity

Administer small sub-contracts and manage structural projects

Inspect geotechnical properties and evaluate foundations

Utilize computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer with 3 years of experience as a Structural Engineer

Experience in industrial structural engineering

Proficiency in STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit

Familiarity with steel, concrete, and masonry materials

Experience in heavy to light industrial projects

Knowledge of rotating and vibration analysis

Advanced understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations

Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and clients
