INVESTMENT ANALYST
to join our Providence office (Hybrid).
Pathway Capital Management, LP, a leading institutional investment management firm that creates and manages specialized private markets solutions for institutional investors worldwide, is seeking an Investment Analyst. Investment Analysts are responsible for analyzing potential investment opportunities—including funds, secondaries, direct equities, and direct credits across private equity, private credit, and infrastructure—and monitoring client portfolios. Investment Analysts work closely with senior and mid-level professionals on small client and due diligence teams.
Responsibilities
Performing quantitative and qualitative reviews of potential private markets fund investments
Supporting in-depth, rapidly moving underwriting of potential direct equity, direct credit, and secondary investments
Conducting analysis to support the due diligence process, including analyzing financial statements of private markets partnerships, reviewing partnership portfolio company valuations, and assessing relative performance
Participating in meetings with fund managers
Supporting Pathway’s client servicing efforts, including preparing client reports and presentations
Assisting with special reporting, research, and due diligence projects on an ad hoc basis
Requirements
Analytical experience in investment banking, consulting, audit, investment management, or other similar fields (including internships)
A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, business economics, or related field with a record of high academic achievement
A strong interest in investments and capital markets
Experience working in Microsoft Excel
Strong quantitative and analytical skills Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
Ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment
Detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful
Self-motivated with the ability to focus on multiple tasks and deliverables
Salary range between $85,000–$95,000 with discretionary bonuses per year and a very generous health care/retirement package.
