Job Duties and Responsibilities

Safety:

Comprehend and adhere to all safety guidelines including participating in safety training and contributing to a safe work environment.

"See something, do something" mentality.

Quality:

Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards, reporting any issues or defects and taking corrective action when necessary.

Productivity:

Understand department production processes and productivity standards, and support adherence.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.

Escalate unresolved issues to minimize equipment downtime.

Optimize equipment performance, including preventative maintenance as required.

Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Teamwork:

Mentor employees on proper methods or equipment operation.

Provide feedback on operator technical knowledge as requested.

Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure production goals are met.

Maintain confidentiality of customer information.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

The ability to work safely, including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.

Equipment optimization expert.

Capable of using a multimeter.

Ability to determine the voltage of energized parts and identification of hazards.

Mechanical aptitude and skillset to perform adjustments and maintenance on mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and replacement of worn components.

Install hardware and perform updates and upgrades to equipment.

Understand documentation of maintenance and repair procedure.

Strong organizational skills, including maintaining a clean work environment.

Follow written and oral instructions and a “procedure-oriented” approach to tasks.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Provide input or feedback on procedures and safety analysis.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with team to implement changes.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.

Qualifications

Able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., mobility to crouch, kneel, reach, bend and do repetitive actions with hands and arms.

High school or vocational/technical school diploma or certificate.

5 Years of experience as a technician or equivalent experience performing maintenance on high voltage equipment.

Experience working with high-voltage equipment (480V).

Has a general understanding of some or all the following: Pneumatics, Mechanical, PLC, ACDC Drives, Multimeter basics, Basic Electricity and Electronics, Power Supplies, Motors, Arc Flash.

Must be flexible on work schedule.
