Project Superintendent

Position Summary Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc. is hiring a Project Superintendent to work day shift at our Alexandria, LA site and support a Capital Project.
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate field operations for the assigned area, including field supervision, personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities.
Work with project staff to develop schedule, methods, and predict performance.
Select appropriate construction equipment and labor supervisory personnel.
Monitor quality control and safety programs.
Collaborate closely with the site superintendent to ensure the job runs in line with planning, methods, and performance set during bidding and planning.
Participate in the Project Management Team, providing information for monthly cost reports—both to-date and forecasted performance.
Supervise labor in compliance with project work rules.
Maintain liaison with P&G on‑site management personnel.
Support site craft leadership, including interfacing with engineering for E.I. changes and OEP deliverables.
Manage and control project tools and equipment for the assigned area or project.
Manage labor resources and adjust availability for the assigned area or project.
Supervise and coordinate on‑site craft safety meetings.
Plan and schedule, in conjunction with the Site Superintendent, craft overtime.
Execute field work in accordance with contract documents, applicable safety rules, quality specifications, testing requirements, and approved project schedules and labor estimates.
Maintain the ability to walk extensively and climb stairs & ladders throughout diverse work environments.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 10 years of combined construction and safety experience in a commercial or industrial construction setting.
Experience with excavation, rigging, crane operations, demolition, process safety management, confined space, working at heights, steel erection, scaffolding, piping & equipment installs, concrete & masonry, carpentry, and related construction activities.
Previous management of direct reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication, time‑management, and organizational skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety and health training.
Familiarity with ISNetworld (ISN) is desired but not required.
