Our client, a leading organization in facility management, is seeking a Service Contracted Facility Janitor to join their team. As a Service Contracted Facility Janitor, you will be part of the maintenance and custodial support team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Service Contracted Facility Janitor Location: San Jose, CA Pay Range: $20.00/hr. Starting Shift: Graveyard Monday-Friday 9:30pm-6:00am and Part Time Weekend 7:00am-5:30pm What's the Job?
Perform regular rounds of the building to collect garbage, sweep, and maintain grounds
Clean and service shop floors, perimeter parking lots, loading docks, and restrooms
Sweep, dust, vacuum, and mop floors in various areas
Gather, sort, and dispose of rubbish, waste, and recycling materials
Keep the building safe from spills or debris, including spill cleanup when necessary
What's Needed?
Knowledge of standard janitorial methods, practices, tools, chemicals, and equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs solo, and 80 lbs with assistance
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as scheduled
