Lutron - Austin Warehouse Facility
Overview Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor at our facility in Austin, TX. You will be part of a growing leadership team as we continue to make investments in the Austin area. In this position, you will play a role in warehouse operations and will have the responsibility for supervising standard warehouse functions. You will be accountable for proactively coordinating all resources (people/ material/ equipment) to achieve our goals in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Responsibilities
Maintain a safe work environment for the warehouse teams
Provide training, auditing and implementing new policies and procedures
Provide direct floor supervision of inbound and outbound operations
Meet and exceed KPI's for quality, service, and costs
Provide performance reporting to management team and use this data to lead and support continual process improvement initiatives
Cross-functionally support site operations including hiring, training and development of warehouse staff
Develop team members in their skills and career growth
Be flexible and adaptable to changing markets
Be an innovative thinker and customer focused

Qualifications
2 - 4 year degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain is preferred
If you have a degree, a minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required
3 - 5 years of Warehouse/Distribution experience; 3+ years supervision experience
Experience leading others
Proven problem-solving ability
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Experience working with SAP is a plus
