Summary
Schedule and coordinate shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers
Verify order accuracy including case counts, weights, and dimensions
Collaborate with management, warehouse staff, and carriers for smooth operations
Prepare shipping documents, labels, and tracking updates
Assist with general office duties as needed
Responsibilities
Schedule orders using the most efficient routes and carriers
Review all shipping paperwork for accuracy before processing
Log and track all outgoing shipments according to company procedures
Prepare Bill of Ladings and order labels for the warehouse team
Communicate order issues and updates with management and drivers
Requirements
Strong basic math, reading, and writing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to sit at a desk, stoop, bend, and reach as needed
Experience with shipping procedures and logistics preferred but not required
