Pay The pay range for this position is

$69,360 to $104,040

and is based on a wide range of factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, education and business needs.

Bonus This position is bonus eligible.

Long‑Term Incentive This position is LTI eligible.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the connective thread between consumer needs, technical expertise, and business strategy across US partners.

Design and implement robust sensory and consumer research to uncover actionable insights and recommend product development opportunities.

Develop and execute consumer technical testing plans, including packaging evaluation, to target superior products.

Contribute to CI plans for innovation, strategic, and competitive benchmarking.

Analyze operator and sensory data to surface insights and key measures for superior product designs, including Structure Team assessments.

Implement CTI best practice, techniques, and processes.

Lead strategic knowledge‑based storytelling (KBS) that drives superiority and aligns with the superiority roadmap.

Support claims strategy through workshops, testing, and compelling KBS narratives that highlight product superiority.

What You Need to Succeed

Center the operator in every initiative, ensuring their needs guide product development.

Display curiosity and enthusiasm for food, emerging dishes, dietary and health trends.

Partner closely with brand marketing, CMI, and R&D to define compelling claims and KBS.

Manage or support the execution of operator, sensory, or claims testing; interpret results and cascade insights efficiently.

Create engaging technical communications, visuals, and demos to showcase innovations.

Understand operator needs and attitudes to connect relevance and brand voice in all claims and communications.

Write research study briefs and execute studies with internal functions and external vendors.

Preferred: Background in consumer insights, agency or external research consulting.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum BS or MS in psychology, nutrition, sensory science, food science, physical science, marketing/market research, or a related scientific discipline.

Minimum 3 years in consumer/chef/operator/dining insights, sensory science with experience in sensory research, qualitative, quantitative, and claims research (CPG with B2B is a plus).

Minimum 2 years in a category R&D function and knowledge of the category or other food‑based business.

Experience in B2B with chefs, operators, and dining experience and product functionality insight.

Excellent oral and written communication skills to translate insights for multi‑functional audiences.

Strong planning, organizational, and detail orientation for CTI research and roadmap execution.

Ability to identify technical project needs and design insight programs.

Application of psychological principles to define operator insight research activities.

Statistical knowledge and ability to interpret data.

Analytical thinking to identify patterns within data.

Creative thinking to support the development of new ideas and showcase product superiority.

Up to 25 % travel required.
