We are seeking an
experienced Property Damage Attorney, preferably plaintiff side , licensed in Texas, to join our expanding team.
This is a
full‑time remote role , but the candidate must be based in Texas—ideally in the Dallas or Houston areas.
Our firm is experiencing significant growth, and we are searching for an attorney who is dedicated to delivering outstanding representation to clients. The right person will collaborate effectively with partners and staff, bring strong writing and research skills to the table, and demonstrate comfort with modern legal technology. Responsibilities
Counsel clients on available options and develop case strategies designed for successful resolution
Spot potential conflicts and outline solutions tailored to client needs
Conduct legal research; draft briefs, motions, and pleadings
Appear in court to argue motions and advocate for clients in hearings, trials, and mediations
Oversee and support paralegals, clerks, and administrative staff involved in cases
Handle a docket of first‑party property insurance cases from start to finish—perform case evaluations, craft litigation plans, and manage all phases of discovery
Maintain proactive client communication by providing updates, gathering case details, and advising on strategy
Prepare settlement proposals and engage in negotiations with opposing counsel, insurers, and other parties
Deliver thorough case assessments and present legal recommendations internally and to clients
Qualifications
Candidate MUST live in Texas. Dallas or Houston area, preferably
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
is
required
3–5 years of recent property litigation experience , preferably first‑party plaintiff
Strong research and writing skills, with proficiency in Westlaw and Lexis
Familiarity with case management software
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to
handle multiple files independently
Must be able to travel throughout Texas for court events as needed
Compensation $105,000 - $150,000 yearly
