We are searching for a talented Technician II
Hours: Per Diem
Shift: Flexible shifts & hours with 1 major summer holiday, 1 major winter holiday, 6 shifts in a 6 weeks period with 2 of the shifts being weekends
Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.
Responsibilities Under general supervision of the Manager, TOH Nursing Services or Designee, perform a variety of duties in providing direct patient care including phlebotomy, EKG, minor invasive procedures and diagnostic procedures in accordance with physicians* orders. Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support including but not limited to patient registration, data/order entry, transcription of orders, collation of medical records and other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Equivalency to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
Over one up to including three years of related work experience is required.
Must be able to successfully complete the Medical Terminology Exam.
CPR certification required.
Registered Nursing Assistant, EMT or Paramedic certifications preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
