RSI is currently recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Operator. This position is located in Sacramento, California. The hourly range for this position is $49.25 - $60.72 per hour (The anticipated starting pay range is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered hourly rate will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.) Primary Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair of various equipment under the direction of the Project Manager Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles used to transport it Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure it’s in good working order Driving or controlling heavy equipment to complete tasks at the construction site Monitoring performance and adjusting settings as required to perform tasks correctly Tracking scheduled maintenance of equipment and notifying their Supervisor if maintenance is past due Filling out performance records to report problems with equipment and track where and when it was used Cleaning equipment after use and disposing of any collected scraps or waste Complying with high safety standards including a clean job site Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma Minimum of 15 years’ job-related experience Experience handling radiological contaminated materials and working under radiological protection programs Extensive experience operating heavy equipment to include excavators, loaders, and skid steers Ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment Trained in OSHA Construction Safety Hazardous material abatement experience Job Knowledge/Qualifications

Advanced safety training and certifications preferred Clearance and Health Regiments
