We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Warehouse & Logistics Specialist
to support our frozen food production and distribution operations. This role is responsible for maintaining two warehouse locations, handling frozen products safely, transferring inventory between facilities, and regional driving to pick up orders. The ideal candidate understands the importance of temperature control, organization, accuracy, and sanitation in a frozen food environment. Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Frozen Inventory Management
Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe conditions in two warehouse locations Manage frozen inventory using FIFO practices and accurate labeling Pick, pack, and stage frozen products for pick up and internal transfers Load and unload frozen products safely, minimizing temperature exposure Monitor freezer conditions and report temperature or equipment issues Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks (manual and electric), hand trucks, and other material-handling tools to move, stage, and load products safely. Conduct basic equipment checks and report any safety or maintenance concerns. Follow all warehouse safety procedures when operating equipment and working in cold storage areas. Receive and inspect incoming products, ingredients, and packaging Assist with inventory counts, reconciliation, and stock rotation Complete daily cleaning, sanitation, and food safety tasks Inter-Warehouse Transfers & Product Pick Up
Transport frozen products, ingredients and packaging between warehouse locations as needed Ensure products remain within required temperature ranges during transfers Accurately document all product movements between facilities Coordinate transfers with production and operations teams to maintain stock levels Driver Responsibilities (Non-CDL)
Safely operate company-provided non-CDL vehicle Perform regional pick up of ingredients and packaging Verify orders, obtain delivery confirmations, and handle documentation accurately Communicate delays, shortages, or product issues promptly Perform daily vehicle checks, including cleanliness and basic safety inspections Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (non-CDL) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly Comfortable operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred; training available if needed). Ability to safely handle and transport pallets and product in freezer/cold storage environments. Experience in frozen food, refrigerated distribution, warehouse, or delivery preferred Understanding of cold-chain and food safety practices (training provided if needed) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to work in freezer and refrigerated environments for extended periods Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Comfortable working in cold temperatures and fast-paced conditions Schedule
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional weekend. Typical schedule is 6 am to 3pm. Flexibility required due to business needs. Compensation & Benefits
