Job Title: Production Operator
Shift:
7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday–Thursday Pay:
$19.00 – $21.05 per hour
Job Overview Production Operators run machines on the production line to help make products safely, correctly, and on time. This role is important to daily operations and focuses on safety, quality, teamwork, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machines
Load and unload materials and finished products
Inspect products to make sure they meet quality and safety standards
Keep work areas clean and sanitary
Assist with machine start-ups, shut-downs, changeovers, and cleaning
Track production data and report issues or machine problems
Perform minor troubleshooting and record downtime
Follow all safety, food safety, and company rules (SOPs, GMPs)
Help train or support new team members when needed
Move materials using hand tools, carts, or lift trucks
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED preferred
Able to read, write, and follow instructions in English
1–3 years of manufacturing or food production experience preferred
Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving ability
Able to work well in a team and adapt to change
Basic math and record-keeping skills
Reliable attendance and good time management
Physical & Work Conditions
Standing and moving for most of a 12-hour shift
Repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs; buckets up to 100 lbs with dollies)
Working in hot, noisy environments
Exposure to food allergens (nuts, dairy, grains, etc.)
Use of PPE and working around machinery and equipment
Must be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
