About the role As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairs, maintenance, and unit turnovers across our properties. The work is hands-on and fast paced, and you will play a direct role in keeping our communities safe and well maintained. What you'll do As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for: General repairs across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and common area issues Completing unit turnovers, including inspections and repairs Supporting renovations and capital improvement projects Responding to maintenance work orders and documenting completed work Communicating with residents, property managers, and vendors Following OSHA, building code, and company safety standards Participating in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, including nights, weekends, and holidays Qualifications At least 2 years of multifamily or related property maintenance experience (3+ years preferred) Proficiency in general repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair Comfort using basic technology. Experience with AppFolio or other property management software is a plus Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varied weather conditions Someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and follow through on assigned tasks Additional certifications (CAM, EPA Universal, OSHA 30, etc) are preferred but not required Compensation and Benefits Base pay varies by experience, certifications, and overall qualifications Maintenance Technician I: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour Maintenance Technician II: $29.00 to $32.00 per hour Maintenance Technician III: $33.00 to $37.00 per hour Overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek On-call stipend of $125 for each weekly on-call shift On-call shift differential for after-hours emergency work, paid at 1.5 times the employee’s base hourly rate Monthly leasing commissions based on the number of lease renewals completed Health, dental, and vision insurance Company sponsored life insurance and AD&D insurance 401(k) plan with company match, available after 90 days Generous Paid Time Off with increases based on seniority
