Building Inspector

Transtech Engineers, Inc. is requesting resumes for Building Inspectors for full-time or part-time positions. The qualified candidate will be working under the direct supervision of the Building Official or the Supervising Building Inspector. The Building Inspector should be knowledgeable in all areas of Building, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and other related codes. The qualified candidate will be responsible for inspections of residential, industrial, and commercial areas. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Building Inspector in a jurisdiction Current ICC (International Code Council) Certification Ability to maintain a valid CA Class “C” Driver’s License Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional customer service skills Experience in building construction, architecture, or engineering work involving knowledge of building codes is a plus Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
