Autism Center of Excellence is adding BCBA and Senior BCBA positions to support continued growth and client demand in our Durham clinic. This role offers a collaborative environment, strong clinical systems, and opportunities for advancement.

Compensation:

BCBA: $80,000 – $100,000

Senior BCBA: $100,000 – $120,000 (base pay + performance incentives)

What You’ll Do Core BCBA Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Monitor progress, analyze data, and adjust programming.

Provide supervision and coaching to RBTs and Behavior Technicians.

Communicate regularly with caregivers and collaborate on home carry‑over.

Maintain accurate documentation aligned with regulatory standards.

Senior‑Level Responsibilities

Mentor early‑career BCBAs.

Contribute to onboarding and training new team members.

Lead case discussions or peer‑review meetings.

Support clinic‑wide quality‑improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Active BCBA certification.

Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, education, or related field.

Eligibility for or holding of NC LBA.

Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment.

Preferred

BCBA: All experience levels welcome.

Senior BCBA: Minimum 3 years as a BCBA with supervisory exposure.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence‑based treatment.

Ability to conduct assessments (e.g., FBAs, VB‑MAPP, AFLS).

Skill in developing treatment plans and supervising implementation.

Data analysis and programming adjustment.

Professional and ethical decision‑making.

Leadership & supervision skills; experience supervising BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, Behavior Technicians.

Coaching, mentoring, staff development.

Comfortable leading clinical meetings and case reviews.

Strong organizational and delegation abilities.

Interpersonal & communication skills; clear verbal and written communication.

Collaboration with caregivers, staff, and leadership.

Positive, supportive approach to staff training and feedback.

Relationship building and family‑support abilities.

Operational & administrative skills; documentation.

Time‑management: balance billable and non‑billable tasks.

Scheduling workflow decisions and quality checks.

Ability to meet physical requirements of clinic‑based ABA (active engagement, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs as needed).

Emotional regulation, patience, and adaptability with challenging behaviors.

Required Education

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.

Active BCBA certification issued by BACB.

Eligibility for or holding of Virginia LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst).

Pass background and reference checks.

Preferred additional coursework or training in supervision, leadership, or organizational behavior.

CEUs related to clinical leadership.

Yearly salary ranges from $80,000 to $120,000.
