Enlight Renewable Energy is looking for a
Project Development Manager
to lead the development of wind, solar, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across
Romania, Poland, or Germany . This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of renewable energy projects throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with both internal teams and external partners in a dynamic, international environment. Responsibilities
Lead all development-related activities for greenfield, mid-stage, and mature wind, solar, and BESS projects, from early development through
Ready-To-Build (RTB) , in cooperation with internal stakeholders and external developers. Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely execution of all project phases in coordination with relevant company departments. Coordinate with external developers, authorities, institutions, and advisors to obtain all required permits, licenses, and administrative approvals up to RTB stage. Identify, analyze, and mitigate project-related risks (financial, legal, technical, environmental). Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. Continuously improve project development and management processes, and support technical and financial optimizations in ongoing projects, in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of experience
in renewable energy project development. University degree in a relevant technical field (Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy, or similar). Strong understanding of the end-to-end renewable energy project development process. Proven ability to independently manage projects, including documentation, schedules, and budgets. Knowledge of energy regulation, administrative procedures, and grid connection processes. Excellent communication skills, strong teamwork capabilities, and ability to build long-term professional relationships. Previous experience in an international organization or with a large energy developer is an advantage. High level of proficiency in
English
(written and spoken). Willingness to travel for business purposes and possession of a valid
Category B driving license .
